Customized Faculty-led Programs in Guatemala
Our Faculty-led programs connect international students with the vibrant culture of Guatemala, fostering academic growth and personal development through immersive experiences and service-learning opportunities that benefit both the students and the local community.
Customized Faculty-led Programs
Since 2014, De La Gente has worked with partner institutions to design programs that adapt to various objectives according to curricular needs and focuses, including service-learning, and facilitated over 120 customized educational trips for international students.
We foster meaningful learning experiences for participants while contributing to their academic growth. Our customized Faculty-led programs aim to offer participants key insights into Guatemalan history, culture, and economic context by immersing them in the daily lives of the host communities in the city of Antigua Guatemala, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and San Lucas Toliman at the shore of Lake Atitlan.
